Tower 3-Port Mid-Position Motorised Valve 22mm – VAL322MP
The Tower VAL322MP is a reliable 3-port spring return mid-position motorised valve designed for use in fully pumped central heating systems. Fitted with 22mm compression connections and a 230V AC switched output, it enables accurate control of water flow from the boiler to deliver hot water only, heating only, or both simultaneously, when used with compatible thermostats and programmers.
Operating on 220–240V AC, 50Hz, the VAL322MP features a low power 6W actuator, providing efficient and dependable operation. The valve is designed to function within an operating temperature range of +5°C to +88°C and can handle maximum fluid temperatures suitable for domestic heating systems. It supports a maximum differential pressure of 1 bar (22mm) and a maximum static pressure of 10 bar, making it suitable for most sealed heating installations.
Supplied with a 1-metre pre-wired cable, the valve offers straightforward integration into standard mid-position control systems. The spring return mechanism ensures safe operation by returning the valve to its default position in the event of power loss.

Installation Notes

Always read plumbing and wiring instructions before installation.

When replacing the actuator, set the AUTO/MAN lever to “Manual Open” on both the existing and replacement units before removal or fitting.

Do not use the actuator for leverage — always use the wrench flats on the valve body when making connections.

During system filling, venting, or draining, set the AUTO/MAN lever to the MAN position.

Do not overtighten fittings during installation.
