The New Design Boiler Magnetic Water Filter is designed to provide effective and long-lasting protection for central heating systems by removing harmful magnetic debris from system water. Available in 22mm (TC-Filter) and 28mm (TC-Filter28) versions, it is suitable for a wide range of domestic heating installations.
Constructed from PA66 with 30% glass fibre, the filter body offers excellent durability and resistance to heat and pressure. With a 530ml filter volume and a high-strength 12,000 gauss magnetic rod, the filter efficiently captures contaminants such as iron, nickel, and cobalt particles, helping to prevent sludge build-up and reduce wear on boilers, pumps, and valves.
Supplied with two ball valves and Ø22 or Ø28 compression fittings, the filter allows straightforward installation and isolation for servicing. It is rated to operate at temperatures of up to 120°C and a maximum pressure of 12 bar, making it suitable for modern sealed heating systems.
By maintaining cleaner system water, the TC-Filter and TC-Filter28 help improve heat transfer efficiency and can contribute to energy savings of up to 6% per annum, while also reducing maintenance requirements and supporting lower carbon emissions.
