Tower 2-Port Motorised Zone Valve 22mm – VAL222MV
The Tower VAL222MV is a dependable 2-port spring return motorised zone valve designed for accurate and efficient water flow control in central heating and hot water systems. Fitted with 22mm compression connections and an integral auxiliary switch, it is ideal for use in fully pumped heating systems where flow direction is controlled by thermostats and programmers.
Operating on 220–240V AC, the VAL222MV uses a low-power 6W actuator to deliver reliable performance while maintaining energy efficiency. When energised, the valve opens to allow water flow, and on power loss it spring-returns to the closed position, ensuring fail-safe operation.
The valve is suitable for a wide range of heating applications, operating within an ambient temperature range of +5°C to +88°C and handling fluid temperatures up to 100°C. It supports a maximum differential pressure of 1 bar and a maximum static pressure of 10 bar, making it suitable for most domestic central heating installations.
Supplied with a 1-metre pre-wired cable, the auxiliary switch enables boiler or pump control once the valve has fully opened, ensuring correct system sequencing.

The actuator must not be used as a lever during installation — use the wrench flats on the valve body instead.
