OP-DFST Digital Fused Spur Time Switch – 7-Day Programmable
The OP-DFST is a digital 7-day fused spur time switch designed for installation in a standard pattress box, providing reliable and flexible control of mains-operated electrical loads. Suitable for a wide range of applications, it allows accurate scheduling of connected equipment while incorporating essential safety and isolation features.
Offering 7-day programmable control, the OP-DFST supports up to 24 on/off switching events with a minimum switching interval of 1 minute, allowing precise weekly scheduling. It controls an internally linked mains output and is rated for up to 13A resistive loads and 2A inductive loads (power factor 0.6), making it suitable for many fixed appliances.
The unit includes a built-in double-pole isolator switch, allowing safe isolation of the load during maintenance. Load protection is provided by a BS1362 13A replaceable fuse, securely housed within a removable fuse caddy for easy access and replacement.
An internal rechargeable battery provides a power reserve of up to 200 hours, ensuring programmed settings and time accuracy are maintained during mains power interruptions. The OP-DFST uses quartz-regulated timing with typical accuracy of ±2.5 seconds per day, delivering reliable long-term performance.
Compact in design, measuring 85 × 85 × 30 mm and weighing 150 g, the OP-DFST features four protected screw terminals for secure wiring and operates efficiently with a power consumption of 1 VA at 230V AC. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and requires a minimum load of 100 mA at 240V AC.
Multiple manual control options are available, including Fixed ON, Timed, Fixed OFF, and Random, allowing immediate user control without altering the main programme.
