Rectangular Terminal Guards

Rectangular Flue Terminal Guards are designed to provide effective protection for flue terminals in line with BS5440-1:2008 regulations, ensuring safety where terminals may be within reach. These guards are suitable for various applications, offering different finishes to meet specific installation needs.

• No Suffix: Zinc & Passivated for general applications
• JS: JS500 Coating, suitable for oil boiler applications
• BR: Brown Plastic Coated for condensing boiler applications
• SS: Stainless Steel for all-weather, lifetime durability

Key Applications:

• Zinc-plated guards are recommended for non-condensing gas applications.
• Plastic-coated (polyethylene) guards offer enhanced protection for condensing boilers, shielding against corrosive low-temperature exhaust.
• Stainless steel guards are available upon request for ultimate durability, which is ideal for long-term installations and coastal conditions.

Important Installation Notes:
To comply with safety regulations, ensure that no part of the guard is less than 50mm from any part of the terminal. When installing below 2.1m from ground level, balconies, or accessible flat roofs, a guard must be fitted to protect users.
