The BRZPUMPHE Hybrid Hot Water Recirculation Pump combines the proven durability of the Tower BRZPUMP bronze pump body with the high-efficiency motor and intelligent control technology of the APUMPHE, creating an advanced solution for domestic hot water recirculation systems. Designed specifically for properties with long pipe runs, this hybrid pump delivers instant hot water at all outlets while minimising water and energy waste.
The pump body is manufactured from bronze, making it highly resistant to corrosion and perfectly suited for oxygenated domestic hot water systems. Integrated within the bronze housing is a high-efficiency permanent-magnet canned motor, featuring a differential pressure controller that automatically adjusts pump speed and power consumption in response to system demand. This intelligent control aligns energy usage precisely with real-world requirements, while also allowing constant speed operation where fixed performance is preferred.

Connection is via a 1.5” G1 (BSP) threaded flange, providing compatibility with standard domestic hot water pipework. The pump delivers a maximum head of 6 metres and a maximum flow rate of 3.0 cubic metres per hour (0.833 litres per second), making it ideally suited to domestic recirculation loops.
The BRZPUMPHE operates on a 220–240V AC, 50Hz supply and supports system pressures up to 1.0 MPa, with a maximum fluid temperature of 110°C. Its intelligent control system allows integration with timers, programmers, cycle timers, and pipe thermostats, providing flexibility in system design and optimisation.
For best efficiency, the pump should be paired with a timer and a pipe thermostat. Installing the pipe thermostat on the return loop just after the furthest tap and setting it approximately 5°C below the hot water cylinder thermostat allows the pump to operate only when circulation is required. Programming the timer to match peak usage periods further reduces unnecessary operation, lowering electricity consumption and extending pump life.
This optimised control strategy ensures immediate access to hot water, prevents system overheating, and eliminates wasted water from long pipe runs, achieving a balance between comfort, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
